I have no idea if this post will make the final cut, but I do know that it’s the first post that I’m writing by hand on this blog.
This new personal site, the same one that will be connected to all other IPs I currently have, serves several purposes, but first and foremost, it exists to serve others.
I strongly believe that my existence would be essentially worthless without other people existing for me to help. Because I know that, I’ve worked and strategized over the different methods and mediums I could use in order to serve others at the highest level. You see, whatever medium I choose needs to be easy to access and have a low barrier to entry without being cheap.
I need to be able to give specific and personalized advice without sacrificing the potential reach that only the internet can provide.
Not only that, but permanence is also important to me….there was a point in time when I would have told you that my biggest fear was being forgotten, so a medium that’s more or less permanent is also important to me.
Hence, this personal website, and this (probably too transparent) blog.
On this blog, you can expect articles that are connected by one thing and one thing alone: I think they are important.
Sometimes I may talk about personal finance and business, and other times I may talk about my relationship with Christ, physical health, interpersonal relationships, or something entirely different.
Whatever the case, and whatever the post, I can promise you, it will (to some degree) matter….at least to me…hence me taking the time to draft thoughts on the subject and deliver them to your eyeballs via the internet. Enjoy. – Javon
